On August 10, 2007, the McGuire family changed forever.
Kevin Lucas McGuire, 44 of Fort Collins, died August 10th, 2007 at The Medical Center of the Rockies following a traumatic motorcycle accident. The family lost their invincible father, loving husband, major bread winner, trusted friend, holiday traditions, and quality of life. The life they had one week before was gone and will never be recaptured.
WHO WAS KEVIN McGUIRE?
- Survived by his wife Tracy, two sons Kevin Mathew McGuire age 12, Rory Joseph McGuire age 6 and daughter Molly Grace McGuire age 16.
- Senior Project Manager at The Neenan Company in Fort Collins, CO
- Served 6 years in US Navy as a submariner
- Avid Harley Davidson rider and annual Sturgis participant
While dealing with her loss, Tracy must be strong for the children who are struggling to understand the devastating accident. On top of this she must find a way to reinvent this family and to provide hope for their future. She must learn new ways to survive financially and provide stability in the family’s life.
The Family’s two primary concerns are:
- Can we stay in OUR home?
- How will Tracy and the family pay for college?
How can YOU help? YOU can help them with living expenses (stay in their house) or help provide a college education for the Molly, Matt and Rory. The Kevin McGuire Fund allows you the choice to do either.
